Gyvlon Environmental Screed Solutions

Gyvlon are the largest binder manufacturer in the UK and are experts in free flowing, anhydrite (calcium sulphate) screeds. They are an Anhydritec company. Anhydrite’s properties and performance give their screeds unique advantages compared to cement screeds. With over 25 years of experience in the formulation of self-levelling screeds, their research and development centre designs innovative products, which benefit a wide range of applications.

Gyvlon Screed has a full range of fluid screeds, quality controlled and manufactured in their customer’s concrete plants all over the country. Ready-to-use, they are then delivered by truck to be pumped and poured on site.

The Gyvlon screed range is supplied through a network of partners (concrete plants) and approved applicators throughout the UK & Ireland to ensure a local delivery service.

The entire product range is the subject of several Technical Reviews / DTA awarded by CSTB (Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment). Their products are also assessed by the British Board of Agreement BBA Certificate for Eco® and Thermio®+ screeds. A truly unique offering!

Gyvlon

The versatile screed of Anhydritec!

Screed deadlines are critical, Gyvlon can be installed at up to 200 m² per hour. After pouring, Gyvlon® Screed products can receive foot traffic from 24 to 48 hours. Drying time for a screed is approximately 1mm per day, up to 40mm. Beyond 40mm, 0.5mm per day. Under floor heating, may also be used to reduce the screed drying time. After 48 hours, the building must be properly ventilated.

Flowing screed requires fewer expansion joints than cementitious screeds. Reducing expansion joints preserves the look of the floor finish. Durability of the screed ensures the best possible surface for a final floor finish. As a free flowing and self-compacting screed, Gyvlon screed is versatile for the majority of build types and is compatible with most acoustic and thermal insulations.
