Brett

Brett is a successful, long established construction and building materials group. One of the largest independents in the UK. Their range of flowing / liquid screeds has been developed along with their other concretes and aggregates over the last 100 years and their reputation is based on getting things done!

They specialise in producing high performance, high specification liquid screeds for flooring applications for the construction industry. they offer a range of solutions including traditional screeds, enhanced performance mixes and flowing screeds, to suit different requirements. All of Brett’s liquid screeds are produced at quality assured plants and comply with the relevant British Standards.

Brett Concrete also provides ‘customer – designed’ screeds for example, early drying/early strength / increased impact resistant, upon request. Technical datasheets giving typical densities, volumes, thicknesses and performance characteristics are available on request.

Their liquid screed range includes both cementitious and calcium sulphate based mixes to suit different customer requirements. Brett utilise traditional drum mixers to deliver their screeds to site and each load is batch using stringent computerised weighing methods at the plant. Each load of screed is then tested to ensure compliance to specification before they send it on its way.

Anhydrite / Calcium Sulphate Screed

Anhydrite screed by Brett is a lightweight, self-levelling screed that can accommodate foot traffic 48 hours after being laid. Designed for larger projects, 1m3 of anhydrite covers 28.5m2 at a thickness of 35mm – which means that up to 2000m2 can be laid in a single day! Offering excellent resistance to cracking and curling, anhydrite delivers minimum shrinkage and therefore little or no movement. Easily transportable and pumpable, anhydrite is perfect for larger, seamless floors and does not require reinforced support beams.

  • Ideal for both new build and renovation work.
  • Suitable for all residential and commercial floors
  • Designed to ideally be laid between 15mm to 80mm depths.
  • Can be force dried after 7 days.
  • Many additional benefits when used with under-floor heating systems.
  • High Strength.
  • Fast Installation.

Longfloor Liquid Cement Screed

Longfloor liquid cement screed is perfect for use both in houses and apartments. It can be supplied as a C20 or C25mm/N2 compressive strength product. It can be laid in thin sections from 25mm! No joints are required up to approximately 100m2 to 150m2. Using Longfloor liquid cement screed minimises risks of cracking and curling normally associated with semi-dry traditional screeds. It can be trafficked very quickly (normally 24 hours) and dries within 21 days for most floor coverings. It produces no surface laitance, which means no need for grinding and the curing agent applied during the installation process even acts as a primer for your floor covering. A truly excellent liquid screed product in our opinion!
